Create a Trend Micro Cloud One Account

Step 1:

• Sign into Trend Micro Cloud One.

• In the upper-right corner of the console, select the drop-down next to your account name and then select click Create New Account.

Step 2:

• Enter the following information:

  • Account Alias: Enter a friendly name that will help you quickly identify the account. The recommended name is Epiphany.

  • Region: US.

• Select Continue.

• If an email address is needed to complete the account creation, please provide one from the origin organization’s domain. Epiphany will not provide an email address for security purposes.

Create an API Key

Step 1:

• In the upper-right corner of the Trend Micro Cloud One console, select the Epiphany account where you want to add an API key.

• Select the account name and then select Account Settings.

• On the left side of the console, select API Keys.

• Select New.

Step 2:

• On the form that appears, enter the following information:

  • API Key Alias: A friendly name that will help you identify the API key. The recommended alias is Epiphany_Key.

  • Role: The API key can have access to various Trend Micro Cloud One services. Epiphany requires a Read Only role. This is a Predefined role.

  • Language: English.

  • Timezone: East Coast

• Select Next.

Step 3:

• The API key value is displayed. Copy the value now and save it in a safe location because it can't be displayed again. If you lose it, you will need to create a new API key.

• Select Close.
