Obtaining The EVE Agent

Once the user have the Endpoint that will be used to make the Emulations considering the details in section Requirements for the EVE Agent Requirements, the user can proceed to download the EVE agent and installation.

To download the EVE software follow the instructions below:

1. Login in to the EVE Platform.

2. Go to the Endpoints Section.

3. Click on the "Download Agent" button in the upper right corner.

4. The EVE software download window with the following options will pop up:

   • Windows 10: It is the version for the Windows operating system.

   • Linux: It is EVE's software for the Linux operating system.

5. Click on the download button for the EVE software depending on the operating system. Make sure to check the box next to Executive Insider, otherwise only the json file will be downloaded.

6. It is possible to download only the json configuration file, do not select the check box next to Executive Insider.

7. Depending on the operating system version, different files will be downloaded.

   • Windows: Insider Windows.zip

   • Linux: Insider GNULinuxtar.tar.xz.zip

8. Click on to continue or to stop the operation.

9. Unzip the files on the endpoint.
