Add the User's Credentials to Epiphany

These instructions, for the most part, apply to both Tenable.io and Tenable.sc. Steps that are unique for each application are clearly identified.

Step 1:

  • Log in to your Epiphany account.

Tenable.io (cloud)

Follow the steps in this section f you are using Tenable.io (cloud).

Step 2:

  • Expand Cloud and then expand Vulnerability Management.

  • Select Add New Datasource.

  • Select Teneable.io.

Tenable.cs (on-prem)

Follow the steps in this section if you are using Tenable.sc (on-prem).

Step 2:

  • Expand On-prem and then expand Vulnerability Management.

  • Select Add New Datasource.

Tenable.io and Tenable.sc

Follow these steps for both Tenable.io and Tenable.sc.

Step 3:

  • On the Add New Datasource page, enter this information:

    • Data Source Name: a description of the Tenable account.

    • Data Source Owner: from the drop-down list, select the name of your Tenable admin.

    • Data Source Notes: any additional information about the account.

    • Access Key: the Access Key you obtained in Generate an API Key.

    • Secret Key: the Secret Key you obtained in Generate an API Key.

To see the Access Key and Secret key as you type them, check the Show Secret Key checkbox.

  • For Tenable.sc only:

    • IP/Hostname: IP address or host name for the Tenable data source.

  • Select Save.

The Add New Datasource page is the same for both Tenable.io and Tenable.sc, with this exception: Tenable.io doesn't include the IP/Hostname and Collector settings. The Collector setting is covered in Deploy a Site Collector (Tenable.sc only).
