About This Document

This guide details the steps necessary to connect data to the Epiphany Intelligence Platform. The Epiphany Intelligence Platform leverages data about network appliances to provide greater visibility into the network exposure in your environment.

Overview

NCentral allows API access by virtue of an API key, URL, and a username. These are created in NCentral's management console by an admin user.

Epiphany only requires a read-only (Default Dashboard Role) user to collect NCentral's data. This is a default role in NCentral when generating API credentials.

To perform the steps in this document, you can do either of the following:

• Option 1: Create a new user, who is designated for use by Epiphany, and provide the user the proper privileges.

• Option 2: Leverage an existing user and follow the steps to ensure the user has the correct privileges to collect all necessary data.

Version Compatibility

• Epiphany: Epiphany Collector version 1.0 and later.

• NCentral: Non end-of-life NCentral versions.

Prerequisites

• Ability to create a user, or access to an existing user with the read-only role.

What is Needed for Integration

• A username with the role of read-only and its API Key.

• The URL of the NCentral console.
