Create a Role in Carbon Black Cloud

This feature is in Early Release/BETA. Please contact your Epiphany Systems support or sales contact to learn more.

Step 1:

• Log into the Carbon Black Cloud UI using your assigned credentials.

• Select Settings and then select Roles.

Step 2:

• Fill in the pop-up windows as shown below:

• Enable these permissions:

  • Alerts

    • View Alerts

    • Notes and Tags

    • View Notifications

  • Appliances

    • View Appliance Details

  • Custom Detection

    • View Watchlist Feeds

    • View Watchlists

  • Device Control

    • View External Devices

  • Endpoint Management

    • View Devices and Sensor Groups

  • Live Response

    • View Live Response

  • Organization Settings

    • View Data Forwarders

    • View Org Information and Codes

    • View Users

Verify that you have applied all of the proper permissions for each of the sections listed above. An improper permission set could prevent adequate collection for analysis.

• Select Save.
