About This Document

This guide details the steps necessary to connect Trend Micro Apex One to the Epiphany Intelligence Platform. The Epiphany Intelligence Platform leverages data from tools like Apex One to provide greater visibility into the risks in your environment.

Overview

Trend Micro Apex One allows API access by virtue of an API key paired with the server’s API ID, which can be created in the Management Application by an individual user.

There are two ways to accomplish this; either method is acceptable:

• Option 1: Create a new user who will be designated for use by Epiphany, and generate an API key.

• Option 2: Leverage an existing user and follow the steps to generate an API key.

Note that as of this writing, there is no role-based access control (RBAC) for Trend Micro Apex One.

Version Compatibility

• Epiphany Site Collector: Epiphany Collector version 1.0 and later.

• Trend Micro Apex One: Server with API capabilities v???.

Prerequisites

• Access to the Trend Micro Apex One API via creating an API application on its dashboard.

What is Needed for Integration

• The Apex server URL.

• The Apex server’s API application unique ID.

• The API key.
